MYATT SNIDER IMPRESSIVE IN FIRST THREE CARS TOUR RACES

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (May 14, 2015) – After the first three races have been put into the record book for the new CARS Tour series, young racing star Myatt Snider is second in the LMSC division’s point standings.

“We’ve been strong in all three races and I am proud of the consistency we’ve shown so far,” said Snider, who has two third-place finishes and a seventh and trails leader Brayton Haws by 11 points. “The Hickory race was the first time for me in a Late Model Stock Car there. We ran in the top-five all race long, but our car got too loose at the end. Sure, I wanted a better finish, but you won’t hear me complain.

“We learned so much that will help us when we go back there for the CARS Tour season finale,” Snider said. “It was so cool to have all of our friends from CrossFit Northlake there and was great to run their logo on our car. It was a fun time for everyone.

“We plan on doing some testing between now and our next race,” added Snider. “We have shown the strength and the consistency. We’re confident that the race wins are just around the corner.”

Next up for Snider and his Jeff Caudill-led No. 2 NASCAR America Chevy racing team is the May 30 Don’t Tread On Me 250 at Southern National Motorsports Park.
